Tasting Notes
Aroma

Complex and intense, with aromas of ripe red fruits such as black currants and cherries, complemented by notes of sweet spices, cigar tobacco, cedar, and a touch of graphite.

Palate

Powerful and rich, with a full-bodied structure and fine-grained tannins. Flavors of dark fruit, spices, and earthiness dominate the palate, followed by a long and persistent spicy finish with a subtle touch of toasted oak. Ideal for long-term aging.

Wine Making
Vinification

Crafted from a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, sourced from our "Ronco" and "Piana" vineyards, where vines are over 35 years old. The soil is a mix of clay and limestone with moderate stoniness. Traditional vinification takes place in open steel tanks, with maceration lasting approximately 30 days and several punch-downs during fermentation.

Ageing

Aged in 300-liter French oak barrels, with a maximum of 25% first-pass wood, for nearly 24 months. This process is followed by extended bottle aging to refine its exceptional depth and complexity.
